“I strive to create metaphors through the use of anthropomorphic connotations and mechanical parts juxtaposed with natural forms. My process is a hybrid of techniques pulled together to create a contemporary artifact. I have been fabricating hollow forms and casting glass elements that possess transferred qualities found in the human form. I also utilize the forms as a vehicle to represent the passage of time and natural progression. I enjoy establishing relationships between the organic forms and the more rigid structures that hold or suspend.”
